Pilot terms for using RecoverKit.
Last updated: June 10, 2026
MVP and pilot status
RecoverKit is currently offered as an MVP and external-testing product for selected merchants. Features, pricing, and availability may change before a broader commercial release.
Use of the service
- You are responsible for configuring RecoverKit only for Stripe accounts you are authorized to manage.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of customer contact information and recovery settings.
- You should test recovery behavior in Stripe test mode before enabling customer-facing recovery in live mode.
- You must not use RecoverKit for unlawful, misleading, abusive, or unauthorized communications.
Stripe-hosted payments
RecoverKit routes customers to Stripe-hosted invoice or payment pages when payment action is needed. Stripe remains responsible for hosted payment entry, authentication, and payment processing. RecoverKit does not collect card data directly.
Merchant responsibilities
- Review and approve recovery messaging before using RecoverKit with real customers.
- Keep support contact information current.
- Disable recovery or stop active sequences when customer outreach should pause.
- Comply with applicable laws and obligations for customer communications, subscriptions, billing, and data handling.
Availability and changes
RecoverKit is provided during pilot validation without a guaranteed service level. The operator may update, suspend, or discontinue MVP functionality as the product is tested and improved.
